Upfront Software: Manufacturers/Hardware

UpFront products are Windows-based and requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP. A minimum of 128k of RAM is required for each Register.

UpFront does not require server based technologies to communicate to Registers. The software utilizes the Windows built in peer-to-peer networking services.

UpFront Software is compatible with a wide variety of hardware peripherals and platforms: Receipt Printers, Touch Screen, Display Poles, Scanners, Scales, POS Keyboards, Cash Drawers, and RF Handheld.

Receipt Printers
Most major brands of Receipt Printers will run with UpFront Software including all models of Epson TMH Thermal Receipt Printers. UpFront also utilizes the Epson OPOS Drivers to achieve MICR Check Reading functions via LPT ports on the Cash Registers.

Touch Screen
UpFront Software is compatible with most touch screen brands, makes, and models including Elo Touchsystems and TEC.

RF Handheld

The 701 RF Terminal is a low cost, easy-to-use radio frequency interactive terminal that communicates with PCs (or any computer) by serial port or through TCP/IP addressability.
